Andrew Cristi and cast member, Marcus Acosta (Gordon Stone in Peter Pandrew) were honored to come out and support a wonderful cause, HIV/AIDS research and give back to the LGBTQ community with the Imperial Court of NY's 29th Annual "Night of A Thousand Gowns" on April 11th, 2015.
The event was amazing, star-studded and larger than life and featured great supporters such as;
Debbie Harry, Dionne Warwick and Granddaughter Cheyenne Elliot who sung a tribute to her, Christian Campbell, America Olivo, performances by disco group Chic, Rockell, and the cast of Avenue Q, and special support from Paris Hilton!
We ran into great hosts on the red carpet that we love; Tym Moss, Jason Galka and Adam Barta, and meet up with other great press like Mike Todd and Eileen Shapiro of Get Out magazine and the crew of Evil Genius NYC and got to fill them in on all the Peter Pandrew happenings and causes!
We also got to talk to amazing LGBTQ activist and writer of the HBO smash, "The Normal Heart", Larry Kramer, as well as get to be in the presence of other amazing activists from the Task Force, God's Love We Deliver, Transparency: The Gender Identity Project, Marriage Equality USA, and the LGBTQ Center.
And then there was more swag from the amazing and charitable celebrity hairstylist and friend Daniel Koye- always great to see him!
